Entrants are asked to pay a gold coin donation to enter and dress in pink as they embark on a fun trail around Cooroy, starting from the Butter Factory. All ages and fitness levels are encouraged to participate in the fun, with prams and canines welcome: walk as a team, or come and meet new friends.
Entrants will receive a Pink Passport to be stamped at various locations, including businesses around the Trail, and will enter in a draw to win some great prizes, including an iPod Shuffle kindly donated by the Friends of Mill Place. There will be prizes for first across the line, best dressed, and for the first time this year, best dressed dog! For the littlies there will also be free face painting.
Noosa Council’s Smoothie exercise bike, with the generous support of Cooroy Harvest Fresh and IGA, will be providing fruit and yoghurt pink smoothies which are sure to be popular. After the walk entrants are invited to indulge in a hearty Cooroy Rotary breakfast barbeque and awards ceremony.
The National Breast Cancer Foundation will be present to provide support and information, and past breast cancer survivors will also be sharing their own personal stories of survival.
